Teaching and Learning
- Develop and coordinate implementation of curriculum
- Analyze student test data
- Assess and evaluate implementation of education standards with school staff
- Review and recommend textbooks and other educational materials
- Recommend teaching techniques and the use of different or new technologies
- Plan, organize and evaluate annual field trip program
- Promote, evaluate and assess dual enrollment program
- Serve as Advanced Placement Coordinator
- Determine school priorities and goals for staff professional development
- Design and conduct biannual teacher-self report and reflection for all faculty
- Plan, organize, and conduct teacher training conferences or workshops
- Develop procedures for teachers to implement curriculum
- Train teachers and other instructional staff in new content or programs
- Mentor or coach teachers to improve their skills
- Observe and evaluate teachers’ instruction
- Coordinate PLC topics, timeline and materials
- Supervise Department Heads in regard to teaching & learning
- Determine teaching assignments and teacher scheduling
- Determine annual course offerings
- Provide data to Head of School regarding staffing needs
- Assist Head of School with recruitment for open faculty positions
- Manage recruitment portals including Search Associates and GRC
