Publications
I have considered myself a writer since kindergarten, when I was chosen as the youngest participant in my elementary school's Writer's Luncheon. Since then, my creative nonfiction and the Expat Heather blog have won awards and been featured in a variety of venues. I have also founded and written various school publications.
Reverberations magazine
Curriculum guide
As the school's Curriculum Coordinator, I am responsible to compile and edit the school's annual Curriculum Guide. Having introduced many new and innovative programs since our school's start in 2012, in 2016 we did a complete rewrite of the guide to represent the teaching and learning in our school. Read my introductory letter to get an idea of the scope of our programs.
Spectrum Literary magazine
One of my projects when I was teaching in the English Department was co-founding the school's student-run literary magazine.
