Achievements include:

- Implementing Newsela and NoRedInk for diagnostic assessment and growth tracking
- Introducing literature circles and library research methods to the curriculum
- Conducting faculty workshops on growth mindset, assessment and rubric design, and positive classroom practices

*Note - My role at ISHCMC-American Academy was originally as English Department Head. I then became whole-school Curriculum Coordinator and a member of the Senior Leadership Team in my second year. The Deputy Head of School was created as our school's size grew, in 2015.
- Spearheading the implementation of Agile Learning and Positive Education
- Building a successful college credit program with Syracuse University
- Partnering with travel & trekking companies to overhaul the Field Studies program
- Chairing the CIS/NEASC Self-Study Steering Committee for accreditation
- Launching a student assistantship program
- Serving as MAP Coordinator and Advanced Placement Coordinator
English Language Arts achievements include:
- Teaching credit courses as an adjunct instructor of Syracuse University
- Founding the school’s monthly magazine & annual literary magazine
- Aligning departmental curriculum to AERO standards as Dept. Head
- Designing courses in creative nonfiction, screenwriting, and public speaking
- Being named a worldwide finalist for Cognita Teacher of the Year (2013)
